I had a look at your code and I now realise what you are telling me, my code provides blank links when there is less than 5 pages worth of results. So thanks for your solution.

I guess my php file is not working. I haven't change anything except for the database connection. Is there a trick to that file? As I said earlier I know little about php. I am trying to use this tutorial for education purposes but am unable to. Is there anything else I should add to the php file? I do have index.html and page.js. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

The full source for this example is available, except for the database connection details which you can place inside the commented out section // Database connection details

As for the database, I just have an ID, firstname and lastname. You can get some dummy data for your database here.

If you have a look at the source for the demo you will have full access to the javascript and the html and you just place your php file in the same directory.

If you have a go and still have issues I am happy to have a look if you can host your attempt on the web.

I am having difficulty implementing your code. I am new to PHP an know very little about js. When I try to view the page it gives me error:

What is the structure of the database you have for this tutorial? I assume is names with id, firstname and lastname. What's $employees?

What am I doing wrong? Can you please be more precise as to where to place what in a page. I have page.js and loaddata.php.
